Cathay Bookshop is owned and operated by Stephen Avedikian, the company is a member of The Antiquarian Booksellers Association founded in 1906 and based in London, UK. We have been members of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers since 1994 and abide by ABA Code of Good Practice.
Cathay is the Anglicized version of "Catai" and an alternative name for China in English, and accordingly we are specialist retailers of Books, Maps, Works on Paper & Vintage Photography of China & her Neighbours.
